Had a leaking water heater and placed a call to Rodenhiser, they had a technician scheduled to come and check it out the same day! When they arrived in the afternoon, Aaron and Mike did an awesome job explaining what the issue was and the potential fixes, then supplied a quote and repaired the leak within an hour! Amazing service and super friendly staff, will definitely be calling again for anymore HVAC or plumbing projects around the house.

Gas boiler and water tank install in an unusually confined space. The technician’s (Robert) quality of work, attention to detail, knowledge and positive attitude are outstanding. Have to also give a shout out to sales and customer service for their unwavering reliability and support. They are on the pricey side, but their ability to think through every issue and provide exceptional service are worth the extra to get a project done professionally.

Rodenhiser great service !
I had a bad leak under the kitchen sink and the pipe it went to downstairs was also leaking a little bit. Called Rodenhiser and they were able set something up to come the next day.Robert and AJ arrived at the set time and finished within the time I was told it would take. Great work. New drain from sink all the way to exiting pipe downstairs. This is my second project in which I used Rodenhiser. Very pleased with their work and the guys are always professional.

Zachary and his assistant did a great job providing electrical services at our home. They were able to quickly diagnose the issues, problem-solve some tricky stuff, and get a lot done in a day, including fixing things a previous electrician had messed up. We would have been a lot better off if we’d just hired Rodenhiser in the first place. They also worked neatly and were professional. There are a couple more tasks that they were not able to finish that they provided us quotes for, and we will be sure to ask for Zachary to return.

Rodenhiser was recommended to me by another company who wasn’t able to make it to their appointment at my house and wanted to reschedule a week later. I had a great experience with Rodenhiser – even though I called during the holidays, the office staff worked with me to get the work scheduled next-day, and they were flexible to make changes to my quote and follow-up appointment when I was able to get the necessary parts sooner on my own. The technician, Brendan, was on time for both appointments, friendly, extremely professional, and finished his work in a timely manner. I absolutely recommend using Rodenhiser’s services.

Plumbers (actually, ALL trades) are in big demand these days. Rodenhiser was able to send someone out the next day!! Andrew arrived promptly in the assigned window, carefully assessed the situation, developed a plan and a clear and understandable quote, and got to work. He efficiently and effectively repaired our toilet and the spigot. We are waiting on parts for the wash tub and Andrew will return when the parts are in to complete that repair. He is very personable and carefully explained all of his work. We are VERY satisfied with Andrew’s work and with Rodenhiser’s ability to schedule us so quickly!!! Thank you!!!

Our furnace was not working properly. I placed a call they came the next day. Unfortunately a new part was needed and it was repaired within 48 hours. The tech was very nice and even offered the use of 2 space heaters which were delivered promptly. It was a pleasure doing business with Rodenhiser.
We discovered a plugged sewer line in our 3 unit condo this morning. No response from local plumbers, but Ridenhiser was able to get Dan out to us by early afternoon and clear the problem by the end of the day. He was very professional and had the equipment he needed in his truck. I am very glad I found them online.

Remington showed up bright and early to install a new electrical panel and upgrade the service drop, among other improvements. He explained everything clearly and labeled the new panel cleanly. No issues, everything looks great and I will definitely use Rodenhiser in the future.
I had a master shower that wouldnt shut off the valve was loose so had to turn whole house water until could get them to come out. Sandy was awesome and got them dispatched out within a few hours of request. Was an emergency fee call but they were there and dependable. Both techs were awesome, polite and professional.
Rodenhiser is exactly what you want if you don't mind paying a premium for AMAZING service. Their contractors are exactly what you want from a high end company. They clean up, if something gets messed up they fix it no questions asked, they handle all the paperwork for mass save, they're on time, they're responsive to questions, they have experts handle each part of the project not just someone who is good enough, they handle the permits and inspections easily, I could go on and on, but the bottom line is if you want to save a buck, look elsewhere, if you want a absolutely perfect experience and are willing to pay for it, if you want a great value and for things to just go right, this is what you want.

When a pipe sprung a pinhole leak on a Sunday afternoon, we only had to wait about an hour before Rodenheiser showed up. Bobby was extremely professional and helpful and explained everything he needed to do each step of the way. Not the way I wanted to spend my Sunday, but I’d happily do it again.
I made the mistake of changing the water filter on my fridge and not turning off the main water. Pipe behind fridge started leaking and was going into the basement. I called 5 different plumbers. I ended up calling Rodenhiser back because they seemed the most professional, polite and friendly. The plumber showed up at the scheduled time. I received an email and text that included a picture of the plumber before he arrived. He was extremely helpful, polite and answered all my questions. Cost was fair for the work done. No surprise costs. I highly recommend this company and will be saving their phone in my list of contacts for any future plumbing needs.

Riley was great in a very trying situation. We had a recirculating pump installed on a tankless water heater. The company that made the water heater made this project very challenging. Riley was extremely patient and worked thru all the obstacles until the job was completed

We recently had some proactive service done on our heat pump from Rodenhiser and about a month later we started to have an issue (odd sound from a switch). I called Rodenhiser this morning and Mark was out at our house before 1pm (same day) and explained everything clearly and helped to have the visit charge waived since the part in question should/could have been identified during our yearly maintenance. I appreciate that they take the time to explain the components and what repair/parts are involved and exactly what I am paying for. No question Rodenhiser has some of the best customer service focused techs and Mark is no exception to that.

we hired Rodenhiser to install mini split ac units in our home. over all great service. Everyone is very professional and respectful. Nick and team were on time both days, and Nick walked me through everything both days and was patient with my questions. The team worked extremely hard to remove my old systems (furnace/condenser and all that goes w hvac systems) and install the new ones, even managing to do so without having to alter anything in my finished basement. You get what you pay for- and Rodenhiser is worth every cent.

I had installed a new refrigerator with an ice maker and water. I had installed the water hose. But the water hose could not be hooked up because the valve underneath the sink had a different fitting than the hose. Rodeniser came in and replaced the valve with the correct valve that could receive the hose. And they did this rather than jerry-rigging an alternate solution. They completed the job in record time, and did a fantastic job. Friendly and professional. This is the second job Rodenhiser has done for me, the former being a complete replacement of the heating and air conditioning system that had failed. I had batteries replaced on 9 fire alarms and installation of 2 light fixtures. They checked my circuit breaker box and found 3 breakers that needed to be replaced. I will contact the builder about that. They also suggested LED lighting in my basement , which they went and picked up and came back and installed. I had a great experience with these 2 gentlemen. Absolutely great from start to finish. The company sends email reminders the day before and on the day of service, sends a text to tell you when the tech is on the way. You can even see on a map where the tech is, with an estimated time of arrival. Adam was a great technician to have. He explained everything he would be doing, told how long it would take, and checked to see if we had questions several times. In addition, he was just a really great guy - we had conversations as he went in and out of the house, and it felt like this was a person we knew, not just a stranger doing work on our house. He was extremely professional throughout the service call.

Noticed the pilot light on my water heater wouldn't stay lit so I made an appointment to have it looked at. I was able to get someone out the next day (they even had same-day appointments available though there was an extra fee). The team who came out were super friendly and communicative, they explained the issue and the fix. They did give me a heads up that my water heater is on the old side and may need to be replaced in the near future, but there was absolutely no pressure to commit to a more expensive solution (they did provide a quote, which I appreciate so I can plan for a future replacement). They had the parts they needed on hand so everything was fixed quickly with minimal interruption to my day. Would definitely not hesitate to call them out for any future problems.

I had a pipe break under my slab which caused me to remodel my 2 bathrooms. I expanded my on-suite from a half bath to full since the bathroom needed to be gutted to resolve the issue. That also required to changes to my bedroom entrance and closets in mine and an adjacent bedroom. They would make suggestions on things I hadn’t thought. Andrew did a great job. He would let me know each day what work he would be doing that day. He would answer all questions and make suggestions when I was unsure. He did everything I requested. Before he’d leave he would let me know what got done and what to expect the next day. Andrew demoed and reframed the bathroom and closets. He did all the carpentry work. The work was excellent. Most of the work was completed by Rodenhiser. Subcontractors were used for tiling, plastering and shower doors. On most days, they had someone on-site Monday through Friday. Unlike neighbors who would have workers show up for an 1-2 hours then leave, I had a team dedicated to my job and they would be here for the entire day. There were a couple times Jamie even stayed late and kept project on schedule. The job was expected to take about 2 months and was completed in just under 3. I actually expected it to take longer. The delays were caused by a missing/defective part that needed to be reordered and the scheduling of the tile subcontractor. Renee would keep me updated on changes to the schedule. Rodenhiser would adjust to minimize the delays.

Anytime I have a job to do, Rodenheiser will get it done correctly the first time out. I cannot say the same with other contractors. They leave my home clean, and they do not cut corners. They might be priced a bit higher than others, but in my experience it's always been worth it. I have never once had to call them back for a follow-up, because when you call Rodenheiser to do a job, you know it will be done right.

Mark Boisvert was the first technician who did not dismiss my request to replace the humidifier cylinder. All prior technicians did not bother to even look at the cylinder before skipping that step. The cylinder was in terrible shape and should have been replaced many years ago. I appreciate the fact Mark did not assume I did not know what I was talking about. I have two heating systems in my house, and both were overdue for a complete overhaul. I got a few quotes and ended up going with Rodenhiser because it was a little less money than the others. It became a more urgent to get the system installed as the temperatures dropped, and they were able to fit me in quite soon, and supplied me with space heaters in the interim. Dan came in to do the quote and measurements, and then brought me the space heaters. Rob and Matt showed up first thing in the morning for all four days of the install, and were friendly, courteous, and professional. They were also very funny. They kept everything neat, and cleaned up everything on their way out. Rob explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and made sure I knew all the troubleshooting spots for my new systems. There were also quite a few other members of the team who came in to do various things - electric, plumbing, glasswork, etc., and everyone who came in was efficient and friendly. I’m very glad to have it all done now, and glad I chose Rodenhiser.
Riley tracked down the two cracked pipes and fixed them. He also did a neat job opening the foyer ceiling. This will make the plasterer/painter’s job much easier.

Christopher Heafey and his apprentice AJ arrived for the initial service appointment: *On Time * Extremely well presented: neat, clean cut, donned booties upon entering our home, professional, polite yet friendly demeanor *Excellent communication skills: listened to our request, examined the current faucet we wanted to replicate, found it, ordered it, summarized maintenance services offered by Rodenhiser in an understandable manner, left a business card in case we had questions and gave us an estimated time frame The call center is outstanding. *When you call the company your call is answered immediately and you are told how long the wait time is, how many calls are ahead of you and asked if you would like a call back instead of waiting. When the professional is coming to your home you receive a text with the photo of the person and approximate arrival time. *Every single employee I had any communication with was polite, articulate and helpful. Replaced blower fan under warrenty by Lenox..looked tough but James handked it professionally. He was knowledgeable and made quick work of the job. He explained the process and made it look easy. Ryan came out to service our geothermal pump and to figure out why our heating costs were so high. He was able to figure out that our nest system was having issues with our auxiliary heat. He explained every step and made sure we were informed of what he was inspecting and fixing. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Wonderful service!
They came on short notice when our heating system went out just before Christmas. They set us up with a temporary hot water heater until our system could be replaced after the Christmas weekend. They do a great job of informing their customers when technicians are arriving and follow-up as appropriate.

They arrived on time, removed the old water heater and replaced it in only a few hours including a leak alarm snd auto shut off system. They were professional, extremely polite and gave me a review of the new water heater features and leak alarm they also installed. Michael Corbin and his assistant did an amazing job replacing a broken faucet and leak in my home. He came 23 minutes after I called and was the most professional and knowledgeable plumber I have ever had (and I have had a lot). Gas water heating tank installation. Old water heating tank starting leaking yesterday and Rodenhiser was able to install a new water heating tank the same day while rain was pouring. Very professional work!

We had some gas line work done and a range hooked up. They had availability a day out, it then texted us to say they could come same day. Price was a lot higher than a competitor, but the service was professional and of good quality. Overall happy with the work.
Everyone we interacted with under this company was wonderfully kind and very professional. They gave me all and any information i may need so i never felt lost. On the day of installation it snowed the day before and they even helped me shovel out my walk way and my cars! As well as use my sand and ice melt to sand my driveway! No matter how much i offered coffee as a thank you they never took it. Just said "they wanted to do it". I will only be going to this company for my house needs in the future.

My husband and I used Rodenhiser to install a mini split system, a water heater, and remove our old oil tank and boiler. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They exceeded our expectations and truly went above and beyond during this process! Their consultant, Rick, was super informative and took his time to explain to us the benefits of installing a mini split system and walked through the design with great detail. We called about 4 other companies for install quotes and he was the only one that spent the time to answer all of our questions. He also had the best design which allowed us to put some of the pipe work within our closets rather than outside of our home which allowed for a cleaner exterior look. Rick was very organized and responsive. Within hours of deciding to go with Rodenhiser, Rick provided me with all the paperwork needed for the MassSave program, gave me the details of a MassSave preferred lender, and provided details on how to get additional funds from Wells Fargo to cover the remaining cost from outside of the MassSave program. Their install team, which consisted of Keith, Tony, Brett (and some others) were very timely, efficient, and super friendly. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the system and their professionalism throughout the project. Each day they walked us through what they were going to accomplish for that day. I work from home full time so they were respectful and would avoid doing work right above my office until my meetings were done. I also just had my hardwood floors refinished and they made sure to be careful to not scratch them. They made sure to clean up afterwards everyday, which we truly appreciated since our puppy, Charlie, loves to eat everything he finds. We cannot say enough good things about the service we received. Installing this system is a big investment and we are very confident that we received the best quality work out there. My husband and I are ecstatic with our new system and have already begun recommending Rodenhiser to our friends and family.

We chose Rodenhiser to install a mini split, 6 head heat pump system in our 100+ year old home. The experience from the very first visit to the last was exceptionally good! Dan Piscitelli who was our salesperson was friendly, very knowledgeable and easy to contact with the questions we had along the way. Always very responsive and helpful! Peter Goeller, our installer, was also a pleasure to deal with. His knowledge and friendliness was evident in every step of the process. They had 4 to 5 guys at the house each of the 4 days of the install. Each person was friendly and professional. Obviously seasoned installers. I felt very comfortable with Peter and his crew installing the system while we were away during the day. Update: New HVAC installed Apr 2020, problem with heat pump, they stood by their work and fixed the problem. Further stated they will now be offering extended warranties, which I highly recommend. One of our boilers broke just outside the 2 year regular warranty. — Recently moved to Milford; we chose Rodenhiser due to the reviews we read. Install was done well and they do the paperwork for you to receive the checks from MassSave. Amount refunded was the amount they told us it would be and costs of system were what they stated. All employees are polite, professional and friendly. We had to have the work done during Covid, but there was never a problem; they wore masks and I was never concerned about getting sick from any of their employees.
Professional and recommend, however right now it seems everyone has plumbing needs and they could not come out as quickly as I needed so I went with a smaller local company.

We just replaced our heating (gas forced air) and air conditioning with new Bryant systems after 22 years. The process from the quote to the project review and then the excellent service technicians, Jeremy and Harrison, went as smooth as any home repair / remodeling we have ever done. The replacements were done within a couple of weeks, the service techs were there on time every day and the job was done a little ahead of schedule and with excellent results, work product and professionalism. We used Rodenhiser after a flood to remodel our finished basement. They were very professional and timely with all updates. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of their work, particularly after the first company we used when originally flooded to do demolition had left us underwhelmed. Rodenhiser came in and cleaned up the messy job the previous company left, and was open with me about how they would complete the work. The price is high for Rodenhiser, particularly since we included finish work and painting, but it was worth it for this project given the timeliness and quality.

There were two small issues with the workmanship that weren't discovered until much later, far past warranty period and they fixed it for free. Further evidence they have great service and engineers.

I have been thoroughly impressed & pleased with Rodenhiser Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Electric. They demonstrated professionalism throughout the process ; from sales engagement, installation and finally annual maintenance. I had a ductless A/C system installed and we have been extremely pleased with its performance which led us to engaging Rodenhiser to replace our (30+) old oil furnace.
I had Rodenhiser come out to perform a number of electrical fixes at our house. Eric and Mason were extremely professional, and addressed our questions and concerns clearly and quickly. Mike the technician arrived promptly as scheduled and was great to work with! The water heater service required a couple of visits, one to diagnose the issue and order parts and one for the repair (heating elements). Jeremy and Harrison did a very thorough clean up of the work area, too. Also a big thank you to the two electricians that wired the system to be compatible with my Google Nest Thermostats. I did notice that after Jeremy and Harrison left, a hung ceiling tile was missing. This tile was moved by Jeremy so that he could route the condensate line to my sump pump. I searched around including the space above the hung ceiling, but could not find it. I'll get a new tile at Home Depot.
They replaced two shut off valves and two spigots. Prompt, professional, and what I was expecting to pay. There was even a mistake on the bill and they looked into it without delay. No haggling on prices . It is what it is.
The service guy Kevin might have been the friendliest technician that’s ever fixed anything in my entire life. He’s meant to be in customer service for sure. He worked fast, cleaned up after he was done, put drop cloths down to protect floors and carpets, helped me clip coupons and sign up for a service plan to save money...all around pleasant and professional. Rodenhiser is great. We had to relocate a heating vent for a kitchen remodel and found it was very hard to find anyone who would do this work during peak AC season. Not only were they willing to come out to give us an estimate, but they brought in a duct expert to help us find an elegant solution to what turned out to be a not-so-straightforward problem. Within days, they crafted the pieces needed to do the work and came back to install the vent. The technicians were all very nice and helpful, and the price for the work seemed very reasonable. And thanks to their help, we can now install our kitchen! I would definitely recommend them.

The fan on my Lochinvar system failed about 6 weeks ago. Due to covid inventory/supply chain issues the part came yeo days ago. The techie came this morning on-time, replaced the part, checked that i had hot water, and checked where water had come through the chimney six days before. Friendly techie.

I had a Hot Water heater installed by the plumber and he did not do the electrical connection. I had to hire Rodenhiser to come and connect it. The experience I had was FANTASTIC. I recently used Rodenheiser to install an entire new Heating and AC System. They did an excellent job of 1) reviewing options and discussing MASSsave, which, when after rebate ended up being $2,000 less than the next best quote (I vetted 4 others). Even before I committed they assisted me with setting up the appointment with a MASSsave partner. 2) They were very prompt, limited to no hold times, and always showed up on time, on schedule. Everyone was very pleasant and easy to deal with. They also were proactive in assisting with qualifying for MASSsave loans. As an FYI this is a huge benefit available to MA residents and having a company that knows this program can save you HUGE money as you can qualify for zero percent financing for 7 years for up to 25k (as of 6/24/2022). I was completely unaware of this program until I worked with Rodenheiser. 3) Installation was fast, thorough, and complete. As an FYI if you install a heat pump system your condenser needs to be placed on a pedestal to ensure that any condensation drains properly during the winter months. I noticed that with the 12” raised pedestal and the 4-5” platform, that my unit was 53” tall. I spoke with the install team and they lowered the platform 5” for us. They tested everything, gave us a demo and helped us set up the app. Great overall experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend.

i used service to trouble shooting a very badly clogged old bath tub drain.. the gentlemen came on time. quickly identified the prorblem. even found bigger leaking rotted brass part . they located the part even with troubled trip ti get it from another warehouse..cause ours is too old, hard to find exact part can fit.. they wirk hardly from 10:00 in the mornibg until 6:00 afternoon almost unstop. OUR clogged parts ran deeply down far.. if wuthout their repreatly test and verify. even patience to make sure that they addressed all the possible problems. our old bath tub won't be as good as new... i would very much appreciated their work ethic abd professional skills and attitude.. I stronly recommend them to anyone..

Justin was great. He came in and quickly diagnosed the problems we were having. A real professional. Each of the service people we’ve had have always been great. We had a real problem with communication with the main office in getting a technician here when we could be here. Margaret tried to help but wasn’t able to overcome the “new system “ that’s been implemented. We got an email only alerting us to a false time for our appointment. Then we only got an email for when a technician showed up and we weren’t home. As a customer that part was very frustrating. We’ve been a long time customer and hope this glitch is resolved quickly as it severely damages me Rodenhiser’s good service reputation.

The service was on time and professional. However, the scheduling was a bit concerning. I originally scheduled for April 20th. Then 3 days before the service, Rodenhiser called and wanted to reschedule for August 11 at 2 PM. I said fine. The service was on time and professional. However, the scheduling was a bit concerning. I originally scheduled for April 20th. Then 3 days before the service, Rodenhiser called and wanted to reschedule for August 11 at 2 PM. I said fine. Then I got a call on April 19th saying that service professional was coming as originally scheduled on April 20th. The service man came on the 20th.
Over the Holoday weekend we discovered a leak in a pipe and possible other leaks. The staff was incredible. The technicians came out assessed the problems and gave us a quote. The work they did was first rate and the process was less than anticipated. Thank you

It was good to have Christopher come out for recent ways leak. Schedule staff and him were prompt to update before visit and detect tap piping issue upon arrival. I called at 10:00 pm because we had no hot water. I got a call back immediately, and two really nice technicians were here by early afternoon the next day. Our hot water had restored itself, but they took the time to give the system a review and uncovered some easily fixed issues to prevent it from happening again. I am so impressed by the customer service for this visit and the great work they did to install the new system for us last year.
The inducer motor on our boiler needed to be replaced and and a leaky exhaust pipe needed to be repaired. Steve and his partner showed up on time and did a great job, explaining what they needed to do, showing me the completed work, and cleaning everything up when they were finished. We’ve used Rodenhiser for a number of heating, A/C and electrical projects and have always been satisfied.

Rodenhiser, and Dan in particular, was able to diagnose exactly what the problem is with our heating system (aging/failing, which is why we are also hearing running water near our baseboards), and offered solutions in a professional and respectful manner. Rodenhiser was perfect. Came 1/2 hour into the scheduled window. Technician was courteous, introduced himself and went right to work. He told me an estimate of how long he'd be here and was accurate. Wore booties to keep floor clean and even apologized that floor got wet because of snow that leaked through. He cleaned up after he was done. Great job!

They have communicated with me, I received a call from the technician Jeff and a call from Andy himself to reassure me the furnace that was brand new and broken for 3 months would be fixed. At the end of the day, Rodenhiser did what is right. Thank you for that -- and I have faith the system will be fixed soon! For that I am turning my 1 star into a 5 --- They'll have earned the 5 when the system is fixed but we are finally on our way!

Repaired sink drains
Wow! Wow! Wow! Great service. Great people. We have had a bunch of new issues with our new house and these guys always get to us right away! The most recent issue, we had no Power due to high winds knocking out the power from the street into our house. It required a whole bunch of work because our panel was also shot! They were great. Very impressed.

They saw the leak from the boiler outlet temperature sensor at the bottom of the unit. They gave me the charge for labor as the unit was still under warranty. After about 90 mins, they had replaced some gaskets and refilled water into the system.
Technician was professional and able to fix the issue
The faucet for the shower was not turning (not "catching"). The technician was immediately able to understand the problem and the likely cause. One of the pieces inside was broken. He had a spare set and was able to resolve the problem quickly. These folks are knowledgeable and efficient. This is the second time I was using Rodenheiser and both times I have been impressed by their competence and efficiency.

SO happy with our service! Our pilot light went out last night and wouldn’t stay lit so we haven’t had heat. It’s in the teens outside and our house is down to 51. Our technician Otto was absolutely amazing! He was prompt and professional, quickly identified the problem (bad thermocouple) and worked to get it fixed. There were issues replacing it and he went above and beyond, setting us up with a temporary solution until the parts came in so we would have heat over the weekend. I was amazed he cared enough to get something going for us, most places would say wait for the parts and just give up. I can’t thank Otto enough for going above and beyond to make sure we would be okay and have heat during this freeze. Great company and would absolutely recommend, especially Otto!

He found that my old system was emitting a high level of CO and explained that it had to be shut down. He helped me schedule a call to assess my options for a new system, and provided space heaters for areas that will be without heat. A superb job!!
Very prompt and professional! We have used them for several small plumbing projects as well as two new furnaces (one in our very old farm house and one in our in-law cottage). Despite a busy schedule with lower technician availability, Christine in the installer department was able to schedule our visit very quickly, within 1 day, which was important due to incoming extremely cold weather. The technician, Nathan, arrived promptly at the beginning of our appointment window and was very personable. He identified our heating problem and corrected it quickly, and also took the time to educate us on aspects of our system design and key controls in our thermostat. Simply put, this is the type of response any customer should expect with a service call, and I am very satisfied.

Excellent work. Here for an exhaust part replacement and repair. They inspected the whole system and located a few more weaknesses in exhaust system and repaired these too-this was a no charge visit because weaknesses attributed to installation by Rodenheiser 10 yrs ago so not upcharging. They were very pleasant, thorough and explained everything clearly

We were unable to remove the locknut under our bathroom sink, making it impossible for me to change the drain assembly. A simple job, but only if you have the proper tools. JT showed up right on time (early in the designated window - MUCH appreciated!), and made quick work of the drain with his Sawzall. As I said, a simple job, but now I can easily finish installing the new drain. We use Rodenhiser for all our heating, cooling, and plumbing needs, and we've never regretted it. Thank you JT!

I had my entire system replaced with a conversion from oil to natural gas and swapped my hot water heater over as well in addition to installing secondary zones to heat my finished basement. The water heater service required a couple of visits, one to diagnose the issue and order parts and one for the repair (heating elements). Rodenhiser installed a heating-cooling system in our home November 2020. We were due for scheduled maintenance-service on December 15,2021. However, since they had a service technician in our area a week earlier, they contacted us asking if it was acceptable for the technician to service our furnace humidifier at this time. We appreciated this and accepted the offer. The technician, Lesandra Locario, was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. She is enthusiastic about her career and explained the process of changing the filter, ensuring proper disconnect of the water feed, and then performed other diagnostics on the system to ensure proper function. Rodenhiser is fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, enthusiastic person performing in-home service on their products.
Service as good. Technician came on time explained how much time it would take and what was done. Signed up for service agreement for heat, and will sign up for AC in the spring appointment booked. Thought the service may include checking balance as my previous company always checked Fence and why do heater but I was told those are separate. Annual maintenance of heating systems
Had annual furnace maintenance. The technician, Dan and his assistant, were on time, explained everything well and took his time.
Ethan arrived on time and we discussed what he was checking up for. The work was done efficiently and in a professional manner. He explained to me the current condition of the system after he performed the checkup. I asked him about adding antifreeze solution, which was added 2 years ago. He told me that it is usually added in every 5 years so it is scheduled to be added in 2024, and he assured me that the system runs smoothly without adding antifreeze solution until then. I am satisfied with his visit today.
Problem was fixed Chris explained the process and what he did to fix the issue. Chris was knowledgeable and professional.

I've had to replace multiple heating and cooling systems this year and interviewed 4 vendors. Rodenhiser's Salesperson Rick Picard was the most expert (having been in Service himself for years before switching to Sales)-- a couple of heat-pump-gas-hybrid boiler/furnace, etc. issues, including how to fit tight spaces, deal w/existing ductwork during renovation, etc. didn't phase him at all (whereas it stumped the other vendors). Of the 4 proposals, Rodenhiser's made the most sense, seemed most confident and had best customer experiences in our area, and was also competitive/comparable on pricing so I felt like I was getting the best quality without paying an exorbitant premium. Rick was also always responsive, patient and thorough answering many many questions. An Install team led by Brian Heno was also great at fitting in our new heat pump-gas boiler-hybrid and tankless water heater into a very tight space. Manager Jeff Amico did a thorough analysis of all the issues we're having on our old, Frankenstein systems and again, was expert and patient. Now Service team Brian Meeks services all our systems, new and old, and is again, always thorough, expert, explains and helps us think through things (fix or replace, etc.) like he's the homeowner himself. I am very glad we went w/Rodenhiser and recommend them to others!

Professional, timely and polite
We have been Rodenhiser customers for several years. They have done HVAC servicing, plumping, and even replaced 2 furnaces and AC systems in 2019. They had serviced and fixed our aging units and facing an expensive repair bill we decided to replace rather than repair units at their maximum life expectancy. We understand we paid a premium compared to other companies but over time they have been very responsive, timely and provide excellent work. One of the furnaces we purchased in 2019 from them and had installed failed to heat. Upon calling Rodenhiser on a Monday morning we find they are so busy no one can come until Friday. The tech was very nice and diagnosed the problem as a gas valve. Good news is the part is under warranty, we just pay labor. The initial quote was rather excessive and we decided not to move forward. Management learned of the event and found that the initial quote was incorrect and offered to cover labor because they made a mistake. Seeing them step up to take care of a long standing member has renewed my belief that they do care about customer relationships.

Very pleased with the installation of an HE gas forced water heating sysem. The crew was expert, diligent and pleasant. Nick stayed until 9PM Fri to make sure that all the zones were working (the problem was crossed wires) and the plumber who got the master bath heater going this week (air bubble in the pipe) was excellent. I look forward to using your one stop services in the future. The new system has only operated for a week and has not passed inpsection so these comments should be viewed as preliminary but valid at this time.

Ended up being a check valve behind the wall that came loose, and the technician was able to remove the duplicate valve and replace it with a pvc pipe to prevent reoccurrence. Was done in an hour and the checked to make sure the pump was working as expected.

We shopped around to replace our old central AC, and Rodenhiser gave us the most comprehensive system recommendation. No need to engage any other contractor; they handled everything. Our oil co. would swap the condenser but not touch the air handler. Rodenhiser's estimate gave us options and coordinated with MassSave programs. They even helped us get a HeatLoan (0% interest for 8 years) via MassSave. Summer 2021, our utility bills for May - Sept showed 15% to 30% reduced KwH usage. And, we were cooler and more comfortable during this hot and wet summer. Great system, great install.

The reason I contacted them was to find out why cool air comes out the floor vents when the system is not on. The reason was not found, but suggestions were given on things to look for and a follow-up visit would would be scheduled.

everything they did was excellent, their techs are highly trained, they work quickly and the end product for the install looks and works great. They have an annual maintenance contract that covers checkups in the spring for A/C, and the fall for the furnace. Never seen a more thorough report after each checkup. The office staff is very responsive and knowledgeable about all of their services, overall I would say they run a really great operation.

We needed our A/C unit replaced and unfortunately due to supply chain issues, it took a long-time to procure the replacement unit. Once available, Rodenheiser removed the old unit and replaced with a new unit. The Rodenheiser team was professional, prepared MA Save rebate paperwork, and left our property clean. I’d highly recommend Rodenheiser!

One of my AC units was not working since last summer. The guy that I hired last year said everything was fine from unit perspective and it could be something to do with the electrical. I paid him and I hired a local electrician who outrightly said nothing was wrong with the electrical. By that time, summer was over and I just left it like it. Come this summer, I reached out to Rodenhiser and boy that worked like a charm. To be specific, Donquor Bloomfield - from Rodenhiser - was simply amazing and super professional. He was very thorough and went above and beyond to fix the problem. He didn't leave until both AC and heating were working fine. I highly recommend Rodenhiser and Don. I don't think you can go wrong with them!

These guys were able to spot the issue in minutes and were able to order the needed part, travelled to a neighboring town to pick it up, and were back within the hour to install it. I was back up and running in about an hour. Awesome service!

I recently had HVAC system installed by Rodenheiser at my home. My experience from start to finish was first class. Pat and Nick worked under extreme heat with the heat index over 100 on most days. I was informed of all the work that’ll be done on each day in the morning and then briefed on the progress at the end of the day. When one of the units didn’t function properly after installation, Pat managed to request an urgent repair as I had guests arriving that weekend. I can’t say enough about the sincerity, competence, professionalism and friendliness of everyone that I had the pleasure of interacting with and this included Ross Pickett, the HVAC specialist who designed the entire project. I have a broken dehumidifier. It was ridiculous that the company required the unit be inspected by a service technician, but that’s what I did. The service technician was thoroughly professional and confirmed what I already knew, the unit is under warranty and needs to be replaced.
They were extremely professional, diagnosed the problem correctly, and proceeded to fix it quickly. I will certainly call them again if I have an issue w my HVAC
